The investment company Greystone Capital has sold the Danish film production company Easy Film to Eyeworks, a Dutch global company.

The investment company Greystone Capital has sold the Danish film production company Easy Film to Eyeworks, a Dutch global company.

The Danish production company Easy Film was bought up by global Eyeworks. Consequently the name will change to Eyeworks Danmark. This is what the Danish business daily Børsen writes.

Eyework’s owners bought the share capital and by that they were given access to the Danish as well as the Polish market for television and film production. Easy Film produced tv-programmes like ”Operation X” etc.

Eyeworks is known in particular for entertainment programmes such as ”Test the Nation” and "Beat the Blondes”, however, the former Easy Film will continue to produce film and tv documentaries parallel with entertainment. The company has the headquarters in Amsterdam and production companies in 14 countries spread over four continents.

The seller Greystone Capital is owned by the Danish shipping business Clipper. The selling price has not been disclosed.
