Havneholmen Tower will be twelve storeys high and therefore represents a new landmark of Copenhagen. It will become a building with multiple functions consisting of two towers and a connecting atrium in the middle of the building.
Havneholmen Tower is designed by Wingårdh Architects who will also create the overall design for the whole area. It will be Denmark's most active contracting company E. Pihl & Søn, who will be in charge of the actual construction work.
Havneholmen Tower will have, as other Skanska projects, a quite high sustainable profile with a level of energy consumption 15-20 per cent lower than what is required by the Danish building regulations. Furthermore, Skanska will seek to make use of as many eco labelled building materials as possible in the construction work. Finally, the tenants will receive energy counselling.
